Dion Lim

Dion Lim is a TV news anchor and reporter at ABC7/KGO-TV, the ABC owned and operated station in San Francisco, CA.  But Dion is anything but a typical news anchor. Her debut book Make Your Moment: The Savvy Woman’s Communication Playbook for Getting the Success You Want will publish in fall 2019.

Going beyond what viewers see on TV, Dion’s passion is to empower women by using humor and transparency and sharing her own stories. Dion is a diverse and sought after public speaker, sharing the stage with news legend Dan Rather, to Hollywood celebrities like Patrick Dempsey and the next day, appearing before 600+ women at a leadership summit for immigrant women.

Using her platform, Dion was named one of America’s top 18 leaders in TV under 34 by Broadcasting & Cable Magazine. She was also personally invited by Arianna Huffington to contribute to the Huffington Post and has written a series for Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls.

When she’s not working, Dion and her husband, a professional poker player, are adventurous travelers who share a love of food. Most recently their globetrotting brought them to India, Turkey, Japan and Taiwan. They’re the proud parents of a miniature dachshund named Daphne and grumpy Yorkie named Georgie.
