Tirzah Price

Tirzah Price grew up on a farm in Michigan, where she read every book she could get her hands on and never outgrew her love for YA fiction. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and splits her time between writing, bookselling, and knitting enough socks to last the fierce Michigan winters. Her name is pronounced Teer-zuh, and no, her parents did not make it up.

Tirza’s YA debut, Pride & Premeditation, the first book in the Jane Austen Murder Mysteries series, which gives three of Austen’s beloved novels murder mystery makeovers will be published in March 2021 from HarperCollins. In Pride & Premeditation, seventeen-year-old aspiring lawyer Lizzie Bennet attempts to solve a murder case while fighting off feelings for her rival Mr. Darcy. Sense & Second-Degree Murder will publish April 5, 2022, with Manslaughter Park to follow in Winter 2023.
